Man, I love Paninos been a customer for many years back when there was a Paninos on Peterson Road then there was one at first and Main and now the only one left is downtown. Got a couple Paninos from DoorDash was a little nervous, but they're good. I forgot how good they were.

I have been a fan previously of Paninos for their panino sandwiches and pizzas, but I have recently become a fan of their delivery. Last night, my husband wanted to order a panino for dinner. I was in the mood for something lighter, so I decided to try something new. I ordered the fall salad with citrus vinaigrette and half salmon. The salad was fantastic! It is large enough for 3 meals. The salmon was lightly seasoned, mildly crisp on the edges, and still warm--much better than I expected. It was a decent size for the price. The salad is so interesting--many textures and flavors such as mixed lettuces, red cabbage, shredded carrots, dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds, blue cheese, and mandarin oranges. I also ordered it with onion, sliced very thinly, and complimented the salad well. The citrus vinaigrette has a nice flavor--it's a bit heavy on the oil, but if you use just a touch, it's perfect with the salad. I am also a fan of their ranch dressing. I never order ranch anywhere else, but theirs is excellent--not goopy, thin (a plus), but very flavorful. The last time we ordered delivery, I ordered their mini meatballs and a side salad, and I was equally enthusiastic. It's nice to have a takeout place which has both heartier and lighter choices.

We love happy hour at Panino's Downtown! 3-6pm every day!! Another great thing that helps us is that they have really good gluten free crust. I can get the cheese sticks gluten free or a panino and it's so good like real crust with gluten. Its close to Colorado College so we often go when we are in town visiting and appreciate how friendly and helpful the staff is every time!!

Every chance I get when I'm in Colorado Springs I try stop at this place. It's been around a long time but remains top notch in my opinion. This time 4 of us stopped in. I had the Reuben panino and my spouse had the Zucchini panino (chicken, zucchini, tomato and ranch dressing). The other two in our party ordered other paninos. These are sensational wraps chock full of meat and other ingredients. They are large and extremely tasty. I took a couple of photos to give you an idea of the size of these items. They are a legend in Colorado Springs and always seem busy. They also have other items such as pizza, lasagna, salads and more. Enough said...go there! Try it for yourself! You'll be impressed just as I am whenever I go there.

Great local spot. We came for lunch on their 50th birthday. Service from Bri was good. COKE products. Food was hot and good. Metered street parking.

I haven't dined in before, so I can't fully speak to the environment, but when I've done pickup orders the food has been consistently tasty and the service was friendly, fast, and helpful. Whenever I come down for a client, we consistently go! I had the Philly panino was pretty good, but in need of either some more seasoning or sauce. I had the shrimp pasta dish (maybe fettuccine?) and that was pretty solid. The food also reheats well!

Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 What a cute spot! I was invited to dinner here and, arriving early, sat at the bar where I was informed that it was still happy hour (from 3 - 6 p.m.), prompting me to order a Moscow mule for the evening. Paninos has the vibe of a mom & pop neighborhood eatery, and that friendly, chill vibe permeated every interaction I had. The bartender and restaurant staff were accommodating and friendly as they sought to find seating for our large group. While I know their paninos are the star jewels of the restaurant, I am a sucker for lasagna. Their lasagna did not disappoint. It is very rare to find a restaurant whose lasagna tastes authentic, meaty, and cheesy, and Paninos NAILED IT. The Moscow mule was very tasty, so much so that I got a second one. Also, I got carded which made me chuckle from the (unintended) compliment. This restaurant is going to be added to my UE list, and I will definitely plan another visit to try out some of their other meals.
